Synopsis & Discussion
Forecaster: -M. Graves
High pressure over the region will weaken today as a low pressure wave passes through the Mountain West. Then by Saturday, a west-northwesterly flow will develop over Arizona. High pressure then looks to return to the Southwest on Monday, becoming more situated over Arizona on Tuesday.

Saturday is forecast is have the strongest winds of period. Breezy, southwesterly winds originating from the Gulf of California are expected, reaching 10-15 mph in the afternoon. Light, afternoon breezes are expected today and Sunday; weaker winds are forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

In all, both PM-10 and PM-2.5 will remain in the Good Air Quality Index (AQI) category.
